In Riga and up to 20 km around Riga, 1Store.lv delivers a washing machine, carries it in (if the building has a lift), disconnects the old one and takes it for recycling, and connects the new one to the existing water supply and drain – 60 € in total. For built-in dishwashers, built-in fridges and fridge door rehanging we agree the price before the work. The services are available for appliances bought at 1Store.lv.
What our technicians do
Washing machine connection – 60 € with delivery
Delivery, carry-in with a lift, disconnecting and taking away the old machine for recycling, and connecting the new one to your existing water and drain connections. In Riga and the nearby area – 60 € for everything. Without a lift, carry-in is charged per floor (see section 8 of the Delivery Terms).
Dishwasher installation and connection
Built-in dishwashers: we bring the new dishwasher, remove the old one, build in and connect the new one, attach the furniture front and take the old one for recycling.
Built-in fridge installation (fitting) and replacement
The most frequent request: we remove the old fridge, adapt the mounting system (sliding door or door-on-door), build in the new one, rehang the furniture door and take the old one for recycling.
Fridge door rehanging
Moving the door of a fridge or another appliance from left to right (or the other way round), if the appliance design allows it.
Carry-in and taking out the old appliance
Carry-in to any floor and taking the old appliance down – the prices are in section 8 of the Delivery Terms. Recycling is always free – see Recycling.
How the price is set
Each job is a little different – the mounting system, the floor, whether there is a lift. So we agree the final price with you before the work, based on your description or a photo of the place of installation. Prices include VAT.

If the conditions on site differ from what was described (for example, a new water tap or socket is needed), the technician tells you before starting – nothing extra is done without your consent.
How to order
- Choose the appliance and delivery with our own van (Riga and the nearby area).
- Write on WhatsApp or call +371 22059100 (or add a note to the order): what needs to be done, preferably with a photo of the place.
- We confirm the price and the time. The technician can bring the appliance himself or come on a separate agreed day.
- The technician does the work and takes the old appliance for recycling.
What to prepare
- the width of the doorways and of the niche checked – for carrying in and building in;
- free access to the place of installation;
- working water and drain connections and a socket;
- the old appliance disconnected from power and emptied;
- the fridge or freezer defrosted in advance.
Not included
- plumbing and electrical work – new taps, drains or sockets, extending pipes;
- furniture alterations – cutting the niche, worktop or fronts;
- installing appliances not bought at 1Store.lv.
Where
Only in Riga and the nearby area – up to 20 km from our warehouse at Rēzeknes iela 3A. In the rest of Latvia we deliver with DPD (including carry-in under DPD rules), but installation is not available.
Payment
The services are provided by our partner technicians. If you pay for the appliance by bank transfer, the delivery and service fee is paid separately – in cash to the technician. See the Payment Terms.

Questions and answers
How much does washing machine connection with delivery cost?
60 € in Riga and the nearby area (up to 20 km from our warehouse): delivery, carry-in with a lift, disconnecting and taking away the old machine for recycling and connecting the new one. Without a lift, carry-in is charged per floor: 10 € per floor, or 5 € if you help to carry.
Where are the installation services available?
Only in Riga and the nearby area – up to 20 km from our warehouse at Rēzeknes iela 3A. In the rest of Latvia we deliver with DPD, but we cannot offer installation.
Can you replace a built-in fridge with a different door mounting system?
Yes. Our technicians remove the old fridge, adapt the mounting (sliding door or door-on-door), build in the new one, rehang the furniture door and take the old fridge for recycling.
Can you move the fridge door from left to right?
Yes, door rehanging is available as a separate service when the appliance design allows it.
What should I prepare before the technician arrives?
A free way to the place of installation, working water and drain connections and a socket, the old appliance disconnected from power and emptied, and the fridge defrosted.
Do you install appliances bought elsewhere?
No. Installation services are available for appliances bought at 1Store.lv.
How do I find out the price?
Write on WhatsApp or call +371 22059100 and tell us what you need – a photo of the place of installation helps. We confirm the final price before the work; it does not change on site unless the conditions differ from what was described.
Do you connect the washing machine to the water supply and drain?
Yes – to an existing water tap and drain or sink trap, using the hoses supplied with the machine. If there is no tap or drain, or they need to be rebuilt, that is plumbing work and is not included.
Does the technician remove the transport bolts?
Yes. When connecting the new washing machine, the technician removes the transport bolts and adjusts the feet so that the machine stands level. Keep the bolts – you will need them if the machine is ever moved.
Can I order a washing machine with delivery and installation in one go?
Yes. Choose the machine at 1Store.lv and delivery with our own van, and write “connect” in the order note or on WhatsApp. The technician brings the machine, connects it and takes the old one away – 60 € in Riga and the nearby area if the building has a lift.
