Cleaning systems
| System | How it works |
|---|---|
| Pyrolytic | The oven heats to a very high temperature and turns grease into ash, which you then wipe away |
| Hydrolytic (AquaClean) | Water and steam at a low temperature soften the dirt, then you wipe it with a sponge |
| Catalytic | Special wall panels break down grease while you cook |
The listing shows each model's cleaning type and steam function.
Steam function
Some models have Steam+ or SteamSense: the oven uses steam while baking so that meat and bread do not dry out. Models without steam are simpler and cheaper. How the steam works in a specific model is described on its page.
