How to choose an Electrolux refrigerator
Most of our Electrolux refrigerators are built-in: they stand in a kitchen cabinet behind a furniture door. There are also freestanding fridges with a bottom freezer. Below is a short guide to installation and Electrolux cooling systems.

Built-in fridge: niche and door
- Niche height. Built-in fridges match standard niches, most often about 178 or 188 cm. See the exact niche size in each model's specifications.
- Door fixing. «Door-on-door»: the furniture door is fixed directly to the fridge door and is sturdier. «Sliding»: the furniture door slides on a rail. The fixing type is shown on each model card in the list.
- Ventilation. The cabinet needs the air gaps given in the installation manual, otherwise the fridge uses more energy.
Electrolux cooling systems
- TwinTech No Frost. The fridge and freezer have separate cooling systems: the fridge keeps its humidity so food does not dry out, and no ice forms in the freezer.
- MultiFlow. Airflow keeps an even temperature on every shelf.
- LowFrost. Ice builds up more slowly in the freezer, so you defrost less often.
- CustomFlex. Door shelves can be moved and rearranged as needed.
