How to choose an Electrolux tumble dryer
All our Electrolux tumble dryers have a heat pump, capacity 8-10 kg. A heat pump dries at a lower temperature and reuses the heat, so it uses less electricity than a standard condenser dryer. The Electrolux series (600, 700, 800, 900) shows how gently the dryer treats fabrics.

What to look at
- Capacity. The dryer should be no smaller than the washing machine, so the whole wash can be dried at once.
- Water drainage. Condensed water collects in a tank you empty by hand; many models can also be connected to the drain.
- Installation. The dryer can stand next to the washing machine or on top of it with a stacking kit.
- Filters. Clean the lint filter after every cycle: the dryer then works faster and uses less.

Is a heat pump dryer slower?
Yes, it takes longer than old vented dryers because it works at a lower temperature, but it is gentler on fabrics and uses less electricity.
