How to choose an LG heat pump tumble dryer
LG heat pump tumble dryers. Warm air circulates in a closed loop and the moisture condenses into a tank, so no vent hose is needed. A heat pump dryer works at a lower temperature than a condenser dryer and uses much less electricity, but it takes longer to dry.

How to choose
- Capacity. Our LG dryers take 8-10 kg. Choose one that holds your usual wash load in one go.
- Energy label. Since 1 July 2025 tumble dryers in the EU have a new energy label with classes A to G, a noise class and a condensation efficiency class. Compare models by the class on the EU label.
- Space. The dryer can stand next to the washing machine or on top of it with a stacking kit. A kit does not fit every model: each dryer page shows the matching LG washing machine and kit.
- LG features. On some models LG states an Auto Cleaning Condenser that rinses the condenser during drying, and an Allergy Care programme certified by the British Allergy Foundation. Features vary by model, see the specifications.
