Operating radius with the cable: Guard L1 12 m, Guard M1 11 m, Boost CX1 10 m. According to the manufacturer, the DuoFlex HX1 runs for up to 55 minutes at a low power level and charges in 210 minutes.
Bagged or bagless
In the Guard models the dust collects in a HyClean dust bag that you replace when it is full; the Guard M1 shows when the bag needs changing. The Boost CX1 is bagless: the dust collects in a container that you empty, and there are no bags to buy. Both types have an exhaust filter: Active AirClean in the Guard models, HEPA AirClean in the Boost CX1.
For pet owners
The Cat & Dog sets include the TurboTeQ turbo brush (STB 305-3) for pet hair on carpets and upholstery. These are the bagged Guard M1 Cat & Dog and the bagless Boost CX1 Cat & Dog.
