TCL 85C7L: 85-inch 4K SQD-Mini LED TV with 144 Hz, 3000 nits brightness and Bang & Olufsen sound

The TCL 85C7L is a 2026 TCL C7L series TV with a 85-inch 4K screen (3840 × 2160). SQD-Mini LED backlighting with Precise Dimming local dimming reaches up to 3000 nits peak brightness, and the CSOT HVA panel with a 0.5% low-reflection film reduces glare. The whole signal path supports 4K 144 Hz, and with Game Accelerator the refresh rate can be boosted to 288 Hz when a 288 Hz HDMI source is connected. The TSR AiPQ processor handles the picture, with support for Dolby Vision, Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, HDR10 and HLG, plus IMAX Enhanced and Filmmaker Mode.

Sound comes from a Bang & Olufsen 2.2 system with a built-in subwoofer and 60 W total output, with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X support, and a soundbar can be connected via eARC. The TV runs Google TV, can be controlled by voice with Google Assistant, content can be cast with built-in Chromecast, Apple AirPlay 2 or Miracast, and Multi View shows two sources at once. For gaming there are 4 HDMI inputs, of which HDMI 1 and HDMI 2 support 288 Hz, plus VRR, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, Game Master and Game Bar.

Who it is for: a large living room with windows where the TV is also watched during the day, a home cinema with HDR films, and PC or console gaming at high frame rates.
