How to choose an Electrolux oven: capacity, steam and cleaning
Here are all our Electrolux built-in ovens: standard 60 cm models with 65-72 l capacity and compact 45 cm high ovens with a microwave function. The Electrolux series number (600, 700, 800, 900) shows how much steam the oven offers. Below is a short guide.

Electrolux series: what steam gives you

Series features add up: a higher series does everything a lower one does and more. According to Electrolux, steam functions save up to 20% of energy. Steamify adds steam automatically based on the temperature you set.
Cleaning: pyrolytic, catalytic or AquaClean
- Pyrolytic. The oven heats to a very high temperature, grease turns to ash, and you wipe it out with a damp cloth. No chemicals or water. 11 Electrolux models in our range.
- Catalytic cleaning. A special coating breaks down grease when the oven is hot (Electrolux states from 250 °C).
- AquaClean. Dirt is softened with water and steam, then wiped off. Ovens without a special function are cleaned by hand.
Sizes and installation
A standard oven is 60 cm wide and about 60 cm high, built in under the worktop or in a tall unit. A compact oven is about 45 cm high and fits in a tall unit above a standard oven. See the exact niche dimensions in each model's specifications and installation drawing.

What is the difference between Electrolux 600, 700 and 800 series?
The steam function: 600 SteamBake, 700 SteamCrisp, 800 SteamBoost, 900 SteamPro. The higher the series, the more steam programmes. See each model's page for its features.
Do I need pyrolytic cleaning?
It saves time if you bake often. If you bake less, catalytic cleaning or AquaClean is enough. The cleaning type is shown on each model card in the list.
Does a steam oven need a water connection?
No, Electrolux steam ovens use a water tank or drawer that you fill by hand, no plumbing needed.
Which hob goes with the oven?
Any built-in hob: Electrolux hobs or all hobs. If your hood has Hob2Hood, choose a hob with the same function.
