How to choose a Mini LED TV
Mini LED is an LCD TV with thousands of tiny diodes in the backlight. They are split into zones that the TV dims separately, so the picture is very bright and black is deeper than on a regular LED or QLED screen. In a Mini RGB or RGB Mini LED backlight, red, green and blue diodes light separately, so the colour range is wider. Samsung Neo QLED and TCL QD-Mini LED combine Mini LED with quantum dots, so they are also on the QLED TVs page.
Mini LED or OLED
Mini LED is brighter, suits a bright room and HDR content well, and long static images are not a problem for it. OLED is more precise in dark scenes because every pixel switches off by itself, while on a Mini LED screen a slight halo (blooming) can appear around a bright object on a black background. The more dimming zones, the less noticeable it is.
Mini LED for gaming
Many Mini LED models have a 100, 120 or 144 Hz panel and VRR, while entry series often have 50/60 Hz. The catalogue card shows the panel refresh rate, for example «120 Hz · VRR 144», and the filter lets you select the refresh rate. If you will connect a console and a soundbar, also check the number of HDMI 2.1 inputs.

How is Mini LED different from QLED?
Mini LED is a type of backlight, QLED is a colour layer with quantum dots. Many Mini LED TVs are also QLED, for example Samsung Neo QLED and TCL QD-Mini LED.
Is Mini LED good for a bright room?
Yes, it is one of its main strengths: high brightness keeps the picture clear even on a sunny day.
Which Mini LED size should I choose?
Our Mini LED models range from 43 to 86 inches. For a 4K TV a comfortable distance is about 1-1.5 times the diagonal: from 2.2 m about 75 inches, from 2.5 m about 86 inches.
